Inspriration of Love

What a Shimmer!!

I am in love ...........with Spritz!! I created this layout of my lovely mother and father in law and used Spritz Baby's Breath to make the flowers spark just as much as the spark between them.

Until next time.

Generosity

I am in LOVE with my new Shimmerz Spritz! I love how nicely the items I spray get this awesome shimmer to them and how well it shows up. I have to be honest, I have never used any spray glimmers before, and so this was my first time using a product like this. I was a little nervous at first and wasn't sure how I would use the sprays. Well, let me tell you, since my first "test" run, I have just gotten totally addicted to using the Spritz and I positive you will too.

I want to share with you, a layout I did called Generosity, which used the Spritz on the flowers on the layout and some close up photos which will let you see just how much shimmer you are able to achieve!

Just check out that shimmer! For the top flowers, I wanted to tone the shimmer down a little bit from what I originally had, and so what I did was just sanded the flower a little bit, but just enough to have the Spritz still show through. Aren't the results just to die for?

Have a great weekend!

Spritz-ing with Stamps

Today I am sharing a mini album that I created using a few colors of the Shimmerz Spritz. I had such a great time using some of my stamps as masks for the tags in this mini album, and I hope that this inspires some of you to give it a try.

The background of the front cover was sprayed with Shimmerz Spritz in Bed of Roses. I embossed the cardstock using my Cuttlebug embossing folder and then sprayed it with the Spritz.

This tag was stamped using a Purple Onion Designs flower silhouette stamp and Versamark ink. I embossed the image with clear embossing powder and then sprayed the page with Eucalyptus Shimmerz Spritz. I simply wiped away the extra spray from the embossed images using a paper towel to clearly reveal the images. Then I used a heat gun to dry the tag (I'm an impatient crafter...I like to see the finished product faster! LOL! ).

Again, I stamped and clear embossed the stamped heart images and sprayed this page with Bed of Flowers Shimmerz Spritz.

Another page that was sprayed with Eucalyptus Shimmer Spritz.

This tag was sprayed with Terra Cotta Shimmerz Spritz. It produced a really nice rusty orange color with more applications of Spritz after each time the page was sprayed and dried.

Another page sprayed with Eucalyptus Shimmer Spritz (I really like this color! LOL! ).

The final page was lightly sprayed with Terra Cotta Shimmerz Spritz, and it came out looking more like a dark peach.

Each of the tags have journaling on the back with a message to each member of our family (my husband and our five children) that expresses what I have learned from each of them. It's a reminder to me of the blessings that they have given to me just by being an important part of my life.

Clearly in Love with Shimmerz Spritz!

It has been such a pleasure for me to have been invited to join Shimmerz as a guest designer this month! After receiving the package containing the a few colors of the new Shimmerz Spritz, I've been on a Spritz-ing spree! I have to say that I love working with it on my projects! Today I'm sharing a couple of clear cards that I created using the Spritz along with a bit of Shimmerz Blingz.

For this card, I sprayed the white doily with some Baby's Breath Spritz, painted some Eucalyptus Spritz onto the blue areas of the patterned paper, painted some Bed of Roses Spritz onto the "s" monogram letter, and painted the edges of the butterfly wings with Pixie Dust Blingz.

Here's a close-up:

Here's the card with it slightly opened:

Here's another clear card I created using Spritz. I sprayed the lace paper and white Prima flower with Baby's Breath Spritz and the pink Prima flower with Bed of Roses Spritz.

And here's a close-up:

Here's a different perspective on this card so you can see the different layers of embellishments:

I love the way that the Spritz applies such a great opalescent shimmer to each of the embellishments that I've sprayed! It seems as if I've been Spritz-ing everything that I've been creating lately. I'm sure that you'll be hooked once you give it a try, too!

New Home Shines

I've been Spritz-ing all over the place and here is my latest Spritz-ed project, a distressed New Home card. I've used Baby's Breath, Bed Of Roses and Eucalyptus in this project and there is even a little sparkle on the lace.

You can see the lovely sparkle of the Shimmerz Spritz when the card catches the light, it is delightful. Have I said that I'm in love with this stuff LOL!

Sentiment: rub on
Colored with: Neopiko markers
Cardstock: SU
Patterned paper: i {heart} papers
Embellishments: prima flowers, lustre gems, Shimmerz, Spritz

I Spritzed the prima flowers with Baby's Breath Spritz, and painted her wings with Gold Glimmer Blingz. I love how Spritz makes prima flowers look so much more interesting!!!
The shimmer goes awesome with the shimmery paper!

Shimmerz and Who I Am

I have been having some fun playing along with a contest where each week there is a different theme to play along with. This week was called Medium Madness! How appropriate is that? Now, honestly, about the only medium I use is.....Shimmerz. So, that is all I used. I had so much fun with this layout.
I first took Baby's Breath Spritz, and covered a piece of cardstock. Then I took Royal Red Shimmerz and painted a rectangle. I also covered a flower with it. I also sprayed a lacy doiley with Concrete Spritz, a white flower with Baby's Breath Spritz!, and I also covered a couple of chipboard letters with Baby Breath also. I love this stuff LOL Here is the layout, and I will probably take better pictures in the sun in the morning because they always helps :)

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!

A little Spritz for you

Well when I got my package of Spritz I was ready to test it out. I didn't realize how awesome this stuff would be! And to say that it shimmerz is an understatement! This stuff really shines and sparkles! Here is a card I made using Babys Breath Spritz as well as Under the Sea Blingz.

Beautiful right? Go on get yourself some!!

Kristine's Folded Card

I stamped on a patterned paper from K&Co . and used black ink from Archival Ink. The stamp is from Stampin Up, Serene Spring .

I sprayed the corner of the image with some Shimmerz Spritz Eucalyptus.

The card looks like this unembellished.

I wanted to use a key on the card as it is a card to someone who just moved into a new home. The key is grunge board from Tim Holtz. First I inked it with Dark Moss Ink. I then sprayed it with Shimmerz Spritz Baby's Breath. When it was dry, I inked again with some Dark Moss and also Lime and Chestnut Roan ink.
The key looks like this when it's finished. To fasten the key I used a silver ball chain from Tim Holtz. I also used two silver charms and some hamp thread.
I sprayed a tag from K&Co. with Shimmerz Spritz Eucalyptus. When it was dry I sanded it on the edges.
Then I inked it with Chestnut Roan ink.
On the tag I stamp with some swirl stamps from Autumn Leaves. The text is rub on from Norsk Stempelblad. I decorated with a lace, some hamp thread and a charm.

At the back of the tag I stamped this sentiment from Ladybug & Friends. It says:"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift. Enjoy it!"

The green flower is inked with Chestnut Roan. The blue flower is from Prima and is sprayed with Shimmerz Spritz Eucalyptus.

And this is what the finished card looks like:
